You can browse and purchase products without registering. However, creating an account allows you to track orders, save billing/shipping info for faster checkout, and manage Wish Lists.

You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your username and password. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized account use.

Ordering

Our online shop allows you to browse and purchase yarn products. Prices, availability, and options shown are subject to change. Displayed sale prices are valid for the specified time only.

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the items in your cart. All orders require approval and confirmation from our store. We may decline orders at our sole discretion.

After we confirm receipt of your valid order, a binding sales contract is formed. You will receive an order confirmation email with details.

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards for online orders. You represent that you have authorization to use the payment method supplied.

To maximize security, your credit card number is encrypted during transmission through secure socket layer (SSL) technology. Transactions are processed by reputable third-party processors.

No charges will appear on your statement until your order ships. The charge will show as Caribou Textiles or a variant to maintain privacy.

Taxes

Online purchase prices do not include applicable sales tax. Based on your shipping address and the taxability of items purchased, the required sales tax will be added automatically at checkout.

If you are exempt from certain regional taxes, you must provide a valid tax-exemption certificate.

Shipping & Delivery

We offer a variety of shipping options through trusted carriers like USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Rates shown at checkout include shipping costs. Your total order cost includes item prices plus listed shipping fees.

Most in-stock orders ship within 3 business days. We will provide shipping status updates by email. Once an order ships, we cannot make changes or cancel it.

We are not liable for shipping delays related to manufacturer inventory or carrier error. If your delivery is severely delayed, contact us immediately so we can investigate.

Returns & Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with your yarn purchase, we accept returns of unused product in original packaging within 60 days of delivery. To start a return, email [email protected] or call 1-800-555-YARN.

You are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend keeping tracking records until your return is processed. Once received, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Refunds may take 3-5 business days to process. Amounts for returned items will show as a pending transaction until complete.

Some limited edition and custom yarns are final sale. Make sure to check listings closely before you buy. For defective or damaged shipments, contact us right away.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any reason, including failure to follow site policies or terms, disputing charges after using our products, and more. We also may delete unused accounts that are inactive for over a year.

If your account is closed, you will no longer be able to access your order history, Wish Lists, or other details. You are still liable for any outstanding transactions.

Yarn Quality & Care

All yarns are produced by and exclusively for Caron under strict quality control. They are made from only the finest natural fibers and synthetics.

It is normal for dyed yarns to bleed or crock when wet. Always pre-wash projects made with brightly colored or deeply saturated yarns. Follow individual yarn labels for care instructions.

Natural fibers have unique properties that react to humidity and temperature. While we try to minimize potential issues, some shedding, fading, and pilling are unavoidable.

Limitation of Liability

caron-yarn.com provides products and services as-is without warranty. We disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

While we aim for a seamless site experience, we are not responsible for damages arising from use errors, outages, or bugs. You agree our liability regarding the site or any purchase shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the last year.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so portions of the above may not apply.

Indemnification
